A selection of things I’ve designed, illustrated, and developed.

BITS LifeGuard – Driver Safety Jacket (Oct, 2014-Feb, 2015)

Research & Development initiatives at BITS Pilani under the umbrella of the BITS Wearable Computing project: BITS-WearComp. Wearable Computing Lab, BITS, Pilani, India | Oct, 2014-Feb, 2015
** Developed a fault tolerant, software tool to monitor vital signs in real time. Implemented methods which learns from GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) and other physiological sensor data to detect and classify stress levels using Data Stream Mining.

Realtime Autonomous Traffic Signal switching using Q-learning

** Presented at Gridlock Hackathon, to solve the traffic problem in Bangalore
Used Q-Learning algorithm with realtime traffic flow information to design an real-time autonomous Traffic light switching system. The system adapts itself whenever an highly important vehicle (ambulance, police, fire cars) is added to the traffic network in an emergency condition, with an objective to provide a congestion free path.

Autonomous Quadcopter control (Aug 2014- Dec 2014)

** Modelled and tested automated Quadcopter control across one degree of freedom Used neural networks to perform reinforcement learning in a continuous action space using FANN (Fast Artificial Neural Network) library.

Sentiment Analysis on Twitter feed using Active Learning

** Used active learning with a linear Support Vector Machine for learning sentiment classification models to be applied to microblogging data streams.

Reatime demographic insights on App features

** A platform which enables android users to visualize their daily phone usage statistics and intern earn money. The anonymised statistics are provided as a service to companies/startups enabling them to understand the demographic usage of various popular android application features using the android acceessibity service. Worked with Elastic search, kibana, Android accessibity service. Presented at Sequoia::Hack Finals, 2016

Project E-Attend, MultimediaHCILaboratory, BITS Pilani (Jan 2014- Dec 2014)

** Implemented a Bio-metric based attendance system
Worked with: shell scripting, Face Recognition, Face Detection and Eye Center Detection Algorithms.
The system generates interactive attendance reports and analytics of over 5000+ students University Wide (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai campus).
